David Jablinowitz moved to Israel from New York in 1981, coming straight out of college and starting at Kol Yisrael (Voice of Israel) public radio almost immediately. He has interviewed seven prime ministers: Shamir, Rabin, Peres, Barak, Sharon, Olmert, and Netanyahu, conducted two conversations with former US president Obama and recently received a phone call from President Biden. He has also turned his attention to the feel-good stories of Israel – on bus rides, market places, the streets, and wherever else they happen.
