We miss Arik Einstein, Israeli rock legend

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Arik Einstein was one of the few instances where Israelis were unanimous: he was the embodiment of goodness and perfection in all fields of Israeli Art. As a singer/composer he was the most popular in Israel's history; as an actor, he took part in key productions in television and cinema; he was instrumental in bringing to mainstream a new generation of musicians and composers. Arik Einstein even held for many years the country's record for high jump! Our session will be dedicated to Arik's life, family, discussion of some of his compositions and songs he sang, and his enduring importance to Israeli culture. Of course, we will also watch him singing, just for us.
