Feedback form is now closed.
We will explore the background, thought and religious policy positions of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, and consider where his theological and social perspectives have been widely misunderstood. An analysis of Rabbi Sacks’ theological influences, his writings and his rulings as Chief Rabbi of the Commonwealth will reveal that he was a much more traditional, conservative and cautious figure than is often appreciated. It will also help answer why this misunderstanding has taken place. This will have implications for Rabbi Sacks’ legacy and the part his ideas will play in the future of Orthodoxy.
