Women 'off' the wall: who owns the Western Wall?

Feedback form is now closed.

When Israel was established in 1948, it was supposed to enable all Jews to practice Judaism according to their belief. And yet, for the past 32 years, a group of religious women have continued fighting for their right to pray freely at the Western Wall. By asking who owns the Kotel, we will open a wider question: who owns Judaism in Israel? Join us and learn more about our decades of struggle, achievements and goals. We will analyse the current situation, and see what must still be fought for. WOW has stood resolutely at the forefront of the movement for religious pluralism in Israel, to inspire and empower women from all over the world and across the spectrum of Jewish movements to find their spiritual voices and create meaningful Jewish identities.
